Danny Ash is a multi-talented showman, aerialist, stripper, boylesquer, dragster, comedian and clown. He is a London based Cabaret and Circus performer currently touring a range of sensuous and insane acts all jam-packed with titillating vaudeville punch. His acts mix circus, comedy, stripping, burlesque, stand-up, clowning and mime and toy with gender, stereotypes, the outlandish and the queer.

Danny Ash originally started life as a straight actor before finding circus and cabaret and writing theatre. Over the last 5 years Danny has created a number of stripper burlesque acts, a variety of characters on the theatre and cabaret scene and ran theatre company Wind-Up Collective.

His work has toured venues across London including Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, Battersea Arts Centre, Nabokov Arts Club, Roundhouse, Hackney Attic and burlesque nights such as Tease Me Tender. Most recently he worked on Marisa Carnesky’s ‘Tarot Drome’ and as a performer at Cirque Le Soir. He performs regularly at Mariah and Friendz as well as Duckie, purveyors of queer and alternative entertainment and recently undertook a summer residency with them. Other performances include at Pride London and Brighton and recently Danny premiered his aerial Conchita act at Queerest of the Queer Festival in The Coronet. He continues to tour his cabaret acts and create new work and is currently in full time training at the National Centre for Circus Arts.
